Mother's Day gift...a new Fitbit at Dick's!

In case you are looking for a great Mother's Day gift, Dick's Sporting Good has Fitbits on sale this week for $50 off...for $79.98 (I think).  I got one from Chris for Christmas, although it took over two months to set it up.   I absolutely love my Fitbit..it tracks all kind of things, like how well you actually sleep, how many steps you take, and how "active" you really are.   I am obsessed with checking out my progress.   I hesitated to get one because of the expense, but it was a great Christmas gift.   The pink one in the Dick's ad is the one I have.

I did some research when I first started wearing it,  and I found out that you can hook up your Fitbit to various rewards programs.  I just googled "Fitbit reward programs."   I don't really do any of them, except for the one I set up with Walgreens.   I don't shop at Walgreens, but there is one close to me.   So, if set your Fitbit up with Walgreens' Balance Rewards, you get a certain amount of Balance Rewards for how many steps you take.  There are all kinds of limitations, but for about 3 minutes of time to set it up, I will get Balance rewards that will get me about $5 every 4 months just for wearing my Fitbit.    Obviously, I am not going to Aruba with that money, but it will get me $15 worth of milk at Walgreens at some point near the end of the year.  Not too bad.
