Lily's Ballet Recital--Metropolitan Ballet May 30, 31st, 2015

This weekend is Lily's ballet recital at Metropolitan Ballet Company.  It is one of the best ballet schools around Philadelphia, and the recital is intense....practice on Wednesday, a four hour dress rehearsal on Thursday, another on Friday, and then two performances on Saturday and Sunday.   She was so good....really looks like a ballerina in the making!

These are from the Sunday 4 pm performance...the whole family came to see her--except Jack, of course!

  We have been taking post-recital photos on these stairs since they were realllllllly little....this is the first one without Jack.    I missed him.

I simply cannot believe how big my face is...and how wide I am.  I know I am not supposed to say that, but I just did.   I am looking into getting Kybella, which is that new fat burning injection that is going to be approved by the FDA in June.  I saw something on the Today show about how it fixes fat necks, double chins....everything I have!   

Anyway, Lily was great.  She had a special part in the Three Wishes, where she runs out and tries to convince the husband to buy riches from her.   Honestly, I do think she was really good, and my friend, Meg, said she "stole the show."   Which I don't think she did, but she was really good.  Best part for me...no ballet until September!
