Happy Mother's Day--May 10, 2015!

Happy Mother's Day to all!!  Honestly, my Mother's Day started last night, when Jack got home from Notre Dame...I drove down to see him, and we stopped at Geno's for a cheese steak.   So nice to be able to spend time with him before he leaves for Rome next weekend.

This morning, I got up early to go to the gym.   I was leaving class, and I looked up, and Anna came to surprise me--we walked on the treadmill for a few minutes, which was also nice...something we never do.  When I got home, I found that she had made me a delicious pancake (it was 2 inches thick, and made of flaxseed and chia seeds with coconut oil...yay!!).   And I got lots of flowers that were picked up at flower sales....a nice arrangement for my beds and planters!!

All day, we cleaned out the third floor, so we decided to cancel our reservations to go out to the William Penn Inn for brunch.  It is an amazing place for brunch, but we got stuff done, and Anna had to go to Crew by 2:45 (nice of them to let the team have a later practice...!!)

Lily and I went to the pool to swim at 3, then when we got home,  we got more stuff done, which we really need to do.

Tonight was my Art Show.  I have been taking Art lessons on Tuesdays, and tonight was the show. It was really nice.  My children were all very impressed by my one piece of painting work:

Although they had no problem laughing at my Scotch tape!!  All in all, a lovely Mother's Day...but every day is a lovely mom's day when you have five amazing children!!
