Trip to Vermont---July 31---August 1, 2015--Aloha Hive, Whippi Dip, Dartmouth, and Cheeseboy!!

Vermont is beautiful.    It is so beautiful, it almost becomes boring.  I drove up to Vermont on Friday with Timmy.   This is our second trip up to Vermont in the last 12 days, once to drop off Lily at Camp Aloha Hive, and the second trip on Friday through Saturday to go get Lily from camp Aloha Hive.

After getting up early, Timmy and I drove to pick Lily up at Aloha Hive in Fairlee:

Next, we drove down to Whippy Dip, for the most ridiculously large ice cream cones I have ever seen:

This prompted Timmy to ask me whether everyone in Vermont has a weight problem....I said I think they know to order the small cones, not the medium cones!

I loved seeing the Dartmouth campus on the way up, and it is less than a 1/4 mile from 91 South, so so we drove there again to look around for a few minutes before starting our journey.

On the way home, I think we went a little out of our way to go to a Cheese Boys for dinner....Timmy talks about this place like it is the Ritz Carlton, so I was a little surprised to see it is a roadside little stop, and they really only sell grilled cheese.

This is one of the things I love about him....he is so easy to please, and it usually involves food!

We got on our way, and made it home by 8.   Lily's conclusion was that she liked the camp, but it seems she really missed being away from home, and most all, she missed Anna.  How sweet!
